WHO

Rhode Island high school students come together into diverse teams to choose a type of pollution and pitch their solution. All areas of expertise are needed—writers, creatives, techies, athletes, etc. Mentors and expert advisors will provide insight and guidance throughout the process. Judges will select winners in three categories.

WHAT

The Rhode Island Hack for Global Good is a social good hackathon. In this time-bound event, students come together to solve a real world global challenge. Each year, student organizers designate a theme. This year’s theme is pollution in all its forms: air, water, soil, plastics, light, noise, social media, political, etc.

Hack Organizing Committee

Hack For Global Good was created by two Rhode Island high school students focused on bringing together diverse teams from across the state to help solve Global Challenge.
